GEMS PATHETIC MED AID
Good day,I seriously have an problem with GEMS.GEMS IS THE MOST PATHETIC MED AID YOU CAN GET.We are paying so much money every month yet we get accounts from Service providers and Doctors.We get so little benefits,which is depleted in most cases in the middle of the year.I had a case which my ENT SURGEON did an application for PMB IN LAST YEAR as I have a major ear problem.GEMS has declined the claim,they asked for more clinical info which doctor has send through.Everytime I call the PMB department at GEMS,they tell me the application has been send for review for case management. I have been fighting this loosing battle since Dec 2020.

30 Apr 2021, 17:12I am so disturbed about GEMS,so I would rather resign and join a new Med Aid which I need to pay out of my pocket,with no Subsidy from Gov,because at the moment i can get another package from Bonitas,which will cost me the same price,with no Subsidy.
