GEMS pathetic!

Good day, I've been struggling with GEMS for the last 3 years especially when it comes to my dependent and her chronic medicine. I have continuous problems with 3 specific tablets (Coxflam 15 mg,Trepiline 25mg, Omez 20 mg) that she don't get as from June every year. The rest of the year she is in total discomfort and pain. My mom had a heart procedure, 17 July at Busamed and the chronic medicine that was prescribed by the specialist to thin her blood is also not covered. Although it was a in-hospital procedure i am getting accounts from doctors and the blood services that was utilized on that date that i must pay out of my pocket?? Money that i don't have!! Why do i have medical aid and to top it off i pay a fortune for. I've changed from Emerald Value to Emerald with that at least my mom's medication would be sorted. the doctor has sent a letter to GEMS to state the importance of the medication for my mom instead i get an SMS , "Your request is receiving the necessary attention" This is a distraction or a stalling tactic until end of December until the new funds is available in January in hoping that you'll forget about it!!Happens every year! What is the purpose of having a chronic option??????

The question i have for GEMS with my health record card at hand since 2006 that I've joined, why do you still cover things that is not being utilized during the year and refuse to cover the important stuff e.g medication? Medical conditions differs from patient to patient. I lose all my funds at the end of the year without compensation to the monies paid during the year.
