Gems Medical aid refuses to pay for Prostate Cancer surgery
<p>My Dad is diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, but has Comorbidities (has had 2 heart attacks) so his Urologist suggested that he has minally invasive surgery(The da Vinci Laparoscopic surgery) </p> <p> </p> <p>The new procedure is more expensive( and we are willing to pay the difference) but they now al together refuse to pay anything if we dont take the more invasive procedure.) </p> <p> </p> <p> Dr Boshoff</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
