Gems Medical Aid - Disgusting

My mother was admitted to hospital last night, it was an emergency. She's on Onyx, the top medical aid for Gems. The doctor charged R736 for the consultation. Gems will only pay R159.70 of that amount. When I phoned Gems they kept telling me to look at the code. I don't care about the code. The fact is that she pays about R5 000 a month into a medical aid, she never uses it and when she does, she still has to cover more than 80% of her own costs. Disgusting!!!!
