Gems, I CAN'T DEAL!!!

I submitted an application(15 June 16) for chronic medication for a condition, which obviously chronic.

I received a responds with a 95% decline on prescription submitted. Medication, which I have used 4 over several months and been treated in hospital for, and responded to positively.

Know, medical experts would know that treating a chemical imbalance, patients respond differently to different meds until they find the responsive ones.

Another thing, consultation are not for free (specalists don't come cheap!), Gems!. If you implement these limits and suggest alternatives, be mindful of other medical costs, where medical practioners will be consulted and member is exhausting other benefits. Y don't you just dispense the cheaper alternative, you wish to pay for, and if member decides to practice other means of rectifying this, well then......be it there choice. (please refer to correspondence sent on 30 June 16).

In essence, what I am saying is that you wasting time and money. I spent more time on Gems's administration(affidavits, motivation, following up on payments due to SPs) and work a full months salary to pay my premiums. I get No value for money in return. I have no peace of mind, Gems

Good day
Thank you for affording GEMS the opportunity of responding to the concerns raised about your chronic medication.
As indicated in our previous correspondence three of the five medicines enquired about were approved as chronic. The other items can be claimed from your acute benefit. Please note that this is, however, subject to available benefits.
Our sincere apologies for the delay in authorisation and for any inconvenience caused in this regard.
