GEMS employees, a bunch of lazymongers!

Gems excels at giving nonsensical service. I added a newborn in December 2021 and later emailed them a birth certificate in January 2022 well within their time frame. The next thing they claim to have not received an email. How exactly? Within the period that is given to add a new born I did receive maybe like 2 smses saying that I must submit a birth certificate but ignored that communication knowing very well I sent the required document also hoping that it was an mistake because it would have not been the first time they mistakenly sent me communication for stuff that they had recieved and later find it.The next thing I know my child’s membership was terminated for which I got really mad because you can’t just terminate a newborn’s membership, babies are fragile.

A couple of months down the line I’m left with a huge amount of money to pay which I fought and they fixed it. That was a relief, few months later boom I now have a debt of over R2000. Who has R2000 lying around waiting to clear people’s mess ups? People who do not thoroughly do what they get paid for moth in and month out?

So over a year this has been a fight until the lady from collections said they will collect the money through persal. I don’t have a problem with that now since they are so sure that I need to clean the mess I made. I had hope the matter had died down and they will collect the money which is how they normally collect debts and we will go our separate ways. Now again I’m receiving smses about my own membership being suspended because they cannot get through to persal. Again I need to submit a recon on their behalf. Gems why don’t you just hire me and work for you because your very on stuff is useless?

I’m not chronic meds and need to get my meds every month and I am paying the full amounts but now due to someone's negligence im at risk of not attaining my meds. so not only my daughter's right to health was infringed now my right to life has been taken away from me by people who fail at doing their jobs? is this how you treat young black mothers?
