GEMS COME TO MY RESCUE

Two days ago I wrote to GEMS inquiring whether my spouse can remove from medical cover before our divorce is finalised. I got an automated reply that I would get a written response within 48 Hours. As I write this, I haven't yet heard anything from them. My removal from medical cover happened on 01 February 2020, according to my spouse. I became a dependant on my wife from 01 February 2019 after stopping work due to health reasons. I did not inform my lawyers about this development but they discovered that in our latest correspondence and are demanding from me correspondence from Gems to that effect. I don't know if GEMS are obliged to provide me with that information. Maybe GEMS can reply on this platform as my lawyers are extremely worried about my health and want to go to court. I no longer have any medical aid card with me.
