Gems ( Another Government Entity failing its customers)

My daughter had been hospitalised more than a year ago. The Pediatrician required a follow up visit to check her recovery. Gems required another authorisation for that consultation which I obtained. Unbeknownst to me the consultant logged in an incorrect authorisation code. My claim was kicked out. Upon phoning and investigating the reason the consultant agreed to correct her error and pay the doctor. One year has passed and this bill is still not sorted out. The doctor keeps sending notifications of an unpaid bill. I don't think its fair that a paying member should be penalised for the in-competencies of Consultants.
