Gems administrators ex gratia dep refusing to help a disabled member *** that requested extra benefits and dont have the bedt interest of their client at heart

I am disabled woman with a rare disease #ehlerdanlos and i app**** to Gems exgratia department for assistance for a carer and for extra funding because my day to day benefit has been depleted. My medical aid nr ***. I have submitted all the documents required but to no avail It is clear that Gems administrators, medscheme and mhg and medical advisors does not have the best interest at heart. It is quite sad that they denying a request from a client that are disabled, suffering immensely from a rare disease and 23 co morbities including heart failure. I have experienced numerous problems with the administrators of gems. This is totally unacceptable as they are infringing my disability, human, woman rights. I know for a fact the client must come first and i would recommend no o'ne to join Gems as the administrators of gems do as they want without considering the best interests of the members at heart. This is a serious matter as they are playing with a members life Their motto of integrity and putting their clients first are not adhered to
