Frustrated with GEMS

I writing as I am very concerned with how Gems has turned out to be , as a result my mother is not well and her doctor referred her to Entabeni due to her current condition,however Gems does not want to approve her admission, hence this patient being my mother is a Cardiac case who is currently experiencing pains as we speak. Going forward Gems is paid without fail every month. So my question is if one is unable to get nor receive medical help in unforeseen circumstances what’s the purpose off having a medical aid .
