********** claims on medical aids

I received my covid 19 jab from the department of health centre that was mandated to vaccinate the department of basic education. I'm a government employee (teacher in a public school). To my surprise, the department of health claimed almost R360 from my medical aid, GEMS, for the covid 19 vaccine. When I contacted health department, I was told that the department didn't charge anyone for the vaccine, and unfortunately I'm not the only person who have raised the issue with them. I sent my complaint to GEMS (26/01/22), and GEMS hasn't responded. I suspect that there is ********* practice going on between some employees of medical aids and health department. Nobody is willing to help. This claim affects my usual benefits & it's my hard earned money that is ****** by GEMS employees who are connected to ******* department of health employees.
