Forever coming up with excuses to avoid paying out claims

Firstly, the only reason you have 1 star is because one needs to tick a star before continuing with the review. You get NO star from me. We pay our medical aid every single month as insurance for when something happens. This year in May we were involved in a terrible car crash caused by someone else.It has been a struggle ever since to get assistance with claims etc from GEMS. Always coming up with excuses - anything to avoid paying out claims. Its absolutely pathetic. I received hospital authorization from GEMS for an op I had to have on 14 September - also due to after effects of the MVA. Well, even the hospital is struggling now to get their money from the fund.
