Disgraceful treatment of elderly patients by Gems

Gems is denying treatment for a 75 year old lady ???purely because she is old. Very sad. Shes been on hormone replacement for 40 odd years due to surgery, she has symptoms due to hormone deficiency and need it to maintain bone integrity. Gems now doesnt want to continue these with it as chronic medications even though its been approved in the past and has been recently motivated for. Spoke to gems 2 weeks ago..was promised a reply in 24 to 48 hours and still nothing. Cant even get hold of gems telephonically to find out what they want now. Disgraceful treatment of elderly patients who must pay out of pocket for medications they have been on for decades.
