Sometimes if feel gems is there to oppress blacks. I m a teacher by profession and last year my contribution was R6342.for 6 member I was used to that because I was told that dependent no6 was not getting subsidy because I have exceeded the number.i was paying.so my mum passed away June 2022 then contribution was R3697.since July till Dec 2022.

January 2023 I got salary that was less with R1700 then I didn't know what maybe the cause then I got payslip from R3697 that was taken to payslip this year Gems took R5406 .I don't understand why so much increament R1700 worse m a teacher.

I tried to call gems Monday to check where is the problem I was told I didn't get subsidy.then I made follow up today Tuesday I got another explanation of scale.my question my notch Dec was R321780.00 same as January.gross is R29745.37 for Dec same as January2023

Basic salary on both payslip R26815.00 Dec 2022 and January 2023 my question why so much increament whereas Dec details it's same as Jan.

If I look at gems employer for R6227.00.jan 2023 gems employer is R6227.00 different is on member fee for Dec it was R9924.00 for 2 adult and 3 children. January 2023 member fee is R11633 .00. I thought gems is there to offload burden but now we are oppressed by them .I even went to HR I was told gems is the one who increase the contribution why are they saying m must find out from them. increament of R1700 it's a **************** I want to understand how did they arrive on that amount normal increment from gems from Is not more that R400 worse my dependents are less .it was a relief all along but R1700 worse this consultant don't give you same reason.

I want answers why so much oppression m a teacher there is no increment m still on same scale compare to last year Dec figure are the same so why Gems took so much money.
