Client service pathethic
I had submitted a claim in April 2019 to be reimbursed and to date have not been paid yet. I have spoken to several client service staff and in September alone to name a few, Luyanda, Zenu Nyalambisa, Mariska Zuma and today with Sindiswa. My phone calls lasted a minimum duration time of 15min to a maximum of 45 min at a time. Since April I have been checking as to when payment would be processed only to be informed that the scanned documents are not visible, submit a ceritfied copy of id, require a letter from the bank for banking details, then bank statement, and now proof of address which has to be a utility bill otherwise an affidavit from the police station certifying thats my address. This has been ongoing with different consultants since April with each one saying that a document must be sent in and I also cc them in the emails. with the closing statement PLEASE advise if all is in order. Unfortunately Sindiswa received the brunt of it today for yesterday by I was told by Zenu Nyalambisa to complete another document which I did at 440pm and today to be told that an affidavit is required. For crying out loud, my bank statement has my address which by the way is not taken online but for fica purposes Im now requested by the teamleader manager Carmelle Coetzee that is the document outstanding to process the payment. According to all my interactions with client service since April the staff do not know what is required except for Sindiswe for they are untrained and unprofessional. It surely speaks volumes. It seems as if GEMS has excuses to refund a client what is rightfully due to her. GEMS CLIENT SERVICE PLEASE SEND YOUR STAFF FOR TRAINING AND PLEASE PROVIDE THEM WITH A CHECKLIST OF WHAT IS REQUIRED.
