CLAIM STILL NOT PAID

I went to see a doctor and April and had to get stitches on my head. The doctor could not let me use my medical aid as it was Saturday afternoon and could not verify my membership. So I paid and got all the necessary documents to submit a claim. I sent my claim to GEMS on the 17 April, then I made follow ups to find out about the claim and was told that it is not appearing on their system. I resent the very same email with the old date on the 11 May, made follow ups today and was told it is still not on their system and I had to resend my documents. Making this enquiries is costing me money which they won't repay back and it seems like i am going to spend more money trying to get back the money I paid at the doctor. This is really frustrating having to pay fees at the doctor and struggle to claim the money back from the medical aid that you pay on monthly basis without a hassle. I am really thinking of cancelling me membership and will just pay cash everytime I need to see a doctor. The money I am paying the medical aid I can save it for hospital bill and use it the day I need to be in hospital
