Claim escalation/ No response/ Worst service ever.

Horrible Medical Aid.

My wife went for a amniocentesis test on the 6th of October 2023. This was then declined by GEMS as they stated they require a motivation letter from the DR.

We sent this motivation letter to them on the 23rd of October 2023. Since then I have been phoning each week, with the same response/ we will escalate this to the PMB department in order to reconsider the claim.

How long can it take to reconsider a claim? Or just to reply to my emails stating any progress made.

I am sad to say that even till today we have not received any feedback/ response from GEMS.

I have logged complaints, even these go unanswered.

I have lost all faith in GEMS!
