Case Managers making elderly, disabled man WAIT for very much needed back operation
My elderly blind father needs authorisation for a back operation. The application is sitting with a Case manager (they are like gods, no one can speak to them). Nothing has been done. It was sent through on Wednesday. He has already missed the date of operation and is now lying in hospital (still in pain, not mobile). Today is Friday!! The surgeon's next operation day is this coming Sunday!!! if we miss this opportunity again GEMS clearly has no worries to pay for extra days in hospital. We WILL NOT be held reliable for any costs incurred further whilst the operation could've been done already!! GEMS, if you have the ***** please get a hold of me asap!!! I am waiting!!

You are treating your members with cruelty, I have video footage of how weak my Dad became, (being blind and half deaf and taking his mobility away because of incompetence)this could have been avoided by your frontline Case workers' short sightedness.
