Bad service and they don't pay accounts on time

<p>I am on Gems medical aid and I have registered for maternity benifts since I found out I was pregnant. I got hospital authorisation long before I was admitted to give birth. The doctor's fee for delivery was R11 400 on which the medical aid said they will only cover R4300, which was fine I understood this. Me and my husband paid our part long before the delivery which was on the 22 April 2017. The medical aid however never paid there part and I have been enquiring about this every month since date of birth which is almost 4months ago. The doctor has also called them more than 17 times and each time they say they will pay and they give a date for payment and when that date comes the payment is still not made. I called them again today and was placed on hold for more than 15min and was told they are re-proccecing it again. This is the 4th time I have heard this rhyme. I am tired of their excuses. The doctor is demanding the money from me now.</p>
