BAD BAD BAD SERVICE

As a member for many years of GEMS,my sister needed assistance with an Ambulance.A call was logged with Ambulance Service, seeing that my sister fell, and she had continuous bleeding from her mouth and nose. When I called to phoned back, they told me they looking for an ambulance to dispatch,as the area is a Red Zone,I asked them why can’t the ambulance be escorted by SAPS then and the consultant never answered,I asked the consultant must my sister die,and the attitude I got from the Consultant was unbelievable. The 1st consultant dropped the call, when I called back I was placed on hold for 10minutes,I asked the reference number for the call and the number to the complaints Department and I was put on hold,I spoke to the Supervisor on duty for Ambulance Sevices for GEMS,holding on for 20minutes and she drops the call on me,after making a few calls back to them I never even got a reference number, when I was cut of completely,we are paying a fortune for GEMS but the assistance we get is pathetic,GEMS increasing their contribution with a 9,5% and we getting such **** service.GEMS is the most pathetic Med Aid where it comes to Services, bare in mind my sister is boarded due to this chronic illness.
