Arrear contributions (***)

I would to get answers for these simple question: • Why are you not deducting premium for my newly added child from payroll? • Does my newly added child not qualify for medical subsidy from my employer?

You’ve sent me two letters for arrear contributions, The first one was received on 2020/12/22 indicating an amount of R 996.00 owed by me which I paid on the same date without even interrogating the letter and a proof of payment has since been sent to you. After scrutinizing this letter, I realized I over-paid you, I was supposed to pay you R 249.00 and the difference is supposed to be paid by my employer as this child also qualifies for medical subsidy. Please refund me R747.00 that I over-paid.

The second letter was receive on 2021/01/12 stating an amount of R 1992.00 that has to be settled by 31 January 2021. Using tools available from you website, I did my calculations and came to these conclusions: • My outstanding contribution for January 2020 is R 264.5 and the difference has to be paid by my employer. My child also qualifies for medical subsidy as already stated above. • Starting from this month (January 2021), my total contribution is R 5846.00 of which R 4384.50 constitute employer contribution and R 1461.50 is my contribution
