Application taking 5 weeks

Good day,<br> <br> my husband passed away on the 21st of December 2014. He worked for the forensic department (Department of Health). He was a member of GEMS medical aid. I visited the GEMS offices in Klerksdorp on 23 December to report his death. They told me that I must apply again to be a member on the medical aid. Since then I have been struggling to get my membership active. I am at the end of my line!!!! I have lost my husband and I've been fighting now for 5 weeks and have no joy. I am under constant stress because of this, my son is 9 years old and is very traumatised due to his father's death, he needs to get professional help to get trough it.<br> I have been following up on a daily basis, every time I phone there is another document outstanding. Then I send it and I have to wait again for 48 hours for them to get the document.<br> This morning I spoke to a team leader and he just told me that the application is at the applications department, they have told me that a hundred times!!!<br> <br> I hope that you can help me in this matter, I will appreciate it a lot.
