5 months since application sent and still not a member!!!!
<p>I started the application process for membership last year on December the 14th; even today I am still not a member. I do not know the number of times I have made a follow up with customer liason officer; I have also been to their offices at Pretoria Arcadia and still nothing!!!!! How long does it take to be a member for goodness sake!!!! </p>

We can confirm that you officially became a member of GEMS on 1 June 2017. There is a three month general waiting period and your benefits will therefore be available from 1 September 2017. We have in the interim, emailed a certificate of membership to you.
