000Mediacal aid prepared to assist

After our bad experience at Life Cosmos Hospital and the deteriorating position of my wife I approached GEMS for assistance as she was dehydrated and in a bad medical shape. After explaining the position to GEMS they approved her admission to Highveld Sub Acute hospital on 21st October 2012 On admission they started with treatment and a whole team was involved for the 20 days she was there Although with the Covid problem she could not be visited but the hospital gave feedback to GEMS who informed me regularly of her position. I take my hat of to GEMS who was prepared to listen to my problem and assisted me immediately . They even provided an ambulance to transport her to this facility with professionals who I can highly recommend. This is what one wants from a medical aid who is prepared to listen to its members. Unfortunately the same can not be said of this sub acute hospital as my wife on discharge is in a difficult position due to Dimentia and the fact that she still can not walk although the physiothe****** and occupational the******s assured me she is able to walk on her own Nonsense They are there just for the money
