Sahara Desert Waffles

Our experience yesterday at the Gelato Dolce Coffee and Cream at OR Tambo was very disappointing. We ordered 3 breakfast waffles and 1 breakfast panini. The waffles were as dry as the Sahara desert, the scrambled eggs were awful and the bacon was really without 1 piece of bacon fat. The scrambled eggs and bacon on the panini was the same as that of the waffles. I then asked for syrup for the waffles just to try and get them down whereafter I got the answer "I will have to charge you for it". Three services of syrup at R8 each - that is R24 whereas a bottle of Illovo Syrup (which is what you use) cost R27.25. I really do not recommend anyone to go there. Rather go to Spur or Wimpy when you are at the airport.

That is the food. One of the staff was walking around chewing on a plastic straw - pacing up and down in front of the shop.
