Poor quality Goods and Services

On the 27 May 2013 we procured a R45999.00 Genuine Leather lounge suite (turns out to be bonded leather )excluding HP and Insurance charges. The salesman pitch was the suite carries a 5 year guarantee and the frame (not wood moulded plastic) a 10 year guarantee. The frame is peeling off the leather is discolouring at a rapid rate. Reported this to ABIL who claims to be only the financiers , they acquired the Ellirens Group and wholly owned them. We have been shoved from pillar to post and have reported the matter to several ombudsman including the Consumer Counsel with no resolve. African Bank is shying away from there responsibilities without being able to substantiate their claims such as the suite was a bargain or sold voetstoots or deliberately damage (90% of furniture in the house was purchase from G&R without any complains or problems including a genuine leather lounge suite. The constant calling and absurd statement made with out proof is becoming a irritating problem. ABIL requested us to phone the supplier who is in the USA and simply say they cant do anything other than we pay them the outstanding monies. I offered to return there suite and being refunded
