GearBest is bad business deal BEWARE!

Please do not waste your time or money purchasing items from GearBest .Although I have read that customers have been refunded and that items that were purchased were delivered to South Africa promptly,I personally think these are isolated cases and very rare and certianly not the case in my instance. My experience, (still ongoing), is that GearBest advertise items on special (just before Christmas) and show that they have x amount in stock .I pursued with the payment transaction and expected my item to be delivered with 5-18 days. After numerous live chats and tickets etc. they inform me that they don`t have stock and that the item is only for reference but they promised me that they would deliver 5 days later.Guess what ? Gearbest responded that the item was only for reference and they do not have stock and that they will deliver 5 days later.This has occurred every time I have contacted them.They do not have any ETA.They do not have the products as advertised .They avoid the questions presented to them and their reply appears to be the same every time but GearBest state that will resolve the problem and deliver the goods but the replies remain the same. However the best is that they still promote the same product and on top of that at a reduced price from the price advertised at the time I placed my order, and when contacted regarding this they inform me they do not have stock and that I may look for a similar product. In my opinion they are not ethical or professional in the way they conduct business as they do not have stock (I think of any kind ) and run their business on the seat of their pants .Offering to try another product would certainly and most probably end up with the same scenario.They offered to refund me my money and when approached to do so they are now insisting I take another similar product.Why in the world would I want something else if I selected the specific product what I wanted to purchase in the first place. For such a large business enterprise as they profess to be they certainly cannot deliver the goods as promised or advertised or even make the effort to get the item as advertised and keep you informed and updated with regard to progress.They just DO NOT have the customer`s interest as their top priority.
