Poor workmanship and unskilled labourers at Gear Boyz Ladysmith

This is the worst Gear box repair workshop in the Ladysmith area. My car went in for gear box replacement at this place. It remained on their premises for 2 months even though they charged me R25, 320.00 which I paid to them. I later found out that parts from my car was ****** and they replaced it with another car's parts. The workmanship on the car was poor as the gear box continuously leaked oil and during a test drive, the engine was also not mounted on. My car also has scratches and dents which shows their lack of professionalism. I took my car to another mechanic who checked the gear box. He told me that these people put in my old gear box and did not replace it with another 1 which was agreed upon and there is proof of their shoddy workmanship welding and they super glued the leak on the gear box. At the price I paid I expected top notch quality work on this car. They have literally damaged my car which costed me more money to fix. The mechanic's wife is rude and uncouth and will fight with you for your own car if you ask her any information about fixing your car. There were many arguments between customers and their cars at that place as these people keep your car for months before they fix it. A word of advice to people in Ladysmith, if you are having a problem with your gear box, please avoid going to Gear Boyz for any repairs as it'll be the most horrible decision you will ever make. Its sad but true that we have human beings in this world that lie, cheat and ***** for a quick buck.
