Please s**** this GDE online system

My dissatisfaction regarding the GDE online system. I app**** for my child at Hoerskool Montana and Hoerskool Overkruin, both schools didn't accept her and she's a Northrigde Primary school Gr7 learner which is 800m from Overkruin Hoerskool.

I reside 2.5km away from Hoerskool Montana.

Shockingly my child was placed at CR Swart Hoerskool which is 19 km from her place of residence. Unfortunately she can't afford to commute there daily given the distance, time and expenses that have to be unexpectedly consumed.

After a little and insufficient assistance from the GDE district I was request to fill after being told that their resources are not allowing them to check for me on the system where an open space is currently available for transfer.

This is too frustrating for both learner and parents and the pressure keeps mounting.

What happened to feeder school criteria? Why fix it if its not broken? The old system was working much better and never carried the amount of pressure and frustration that this current system is bringing, and its getting worse year by year.
