Bad business

I ordered an item 28Jan expecting delivery by 31 jan or latest 3 Feb. I have had no feedback on courier or anything. After having them dind my item which took a while I was informed the courier has not picked up the item yet but would today 3rd Feb. If I never contacted them I wonder if it would have been picked up today. When I informed them I am not happy I was told they will refund me and I must look somewhere else. This really is bad business. No apology at all.
