GCC Projects taking your money and making excuses

GCC came to repair my garage door on October 14, 2014. The technicians told me that the total cost for the repairs and service would come to R2 350. Later on I received an invoice for R2870! They told me they has spoken to an old man (my father who is hard of hearing) regarding more items being needed. I had a 10 day old baby at this stage so I had been in the house that was the reason they had not spoken to me. I was in and out constantly between looking after the baby and after numerous complains they gave me a discounted amount to R2 650. Still R 300 above the original quoted amount. My garage door still made noises which I was told was \normal". On the 22 February (4 months after repairs and not being used during Dec/Jan) the same problem arose with the garage door. The cable snapped. The company refused to accept responsibility and another company told me that the spring that had been installed could not hold the double garages weight but GCC said it got heavier from rain (it is under a balcony and varnished recently to protect it from the few drops that might get it).
