Problem resolved - FINALLY
Further to my previous review of the terrible customer service from GC Solar Customer Services Executive and CEO's where they made minimal effort to resolve my ten week long problem I was having with their Growcol inverter... I can now happily say that finally, after three of their staff members Shaye de Wet (Sales) and technicians Alton Szebelledi and Romarno Johnson decided to come to site to see exactly what the problem was, they noted certain settings that were incorrect and a cable that was missing between batteries. Changes were made and the system is now working perfectly. Thank you to those three gentlemen, if only their "bosses" had sent them out when the problem was first reported to them (it's called CUSTOMER SERVICE bosses), a lot of unpleasantness could have been averted !

20 Sept 2023, 17:19Sorry to burst my own bubble but the original problem was resolved EVENTUALLY, but now other issues have raised their ugly head and as has come to be expected from GC Solar, customer service is non existent, evasion, excuses, non communication, time wasting, denial, staff changes, and all round poor excuses are the order of the day. so fed up, the only way I am going to get any satisfaction is a complete refund and to put as much distance between this horrible experience and this company as possible

Sorry to burst my own bubble but the original problem was resolved EVENTUALLY, but now other issues have raised their ugly head and as has come to be expected from GC Solar, customer service is non existent, evasion, excuses, non communication, time wasting, denial, staff changes, and all round poor excuses are the order of the day. so fed up, the only way I am going to get any satisfaction is a complete refund and to put as much distance between this horrible experience and this company as possible

03 Mar 2024, 14:24Just an update on this issue, the inverter was returned, I received a partial refund less "handling fees" but to be honest, I was just glad to get that junk off my premises. I subsequently went with Sunsynk and oh boy, talk about a "chalk and cheese" difference...my only regret was making the wrong choice in the first place
