GC SOLAR - MAN UP & HONOR YOUR GARANTEE / WARANTEE

We bought batteries x 2 for this company, after a month 1 battery started showing problems, the installer came out and checked and it was the battery itself ( was charged call out R 1250 & Delivery fee R 250), installler took battery in to GC Solar to check, 3 weeks not an word, installer followed up, then i drove there as one can't get someone on the phone, was told, 1 cell was faulty and this is confirmed by the manufacture as being a factory fault, ordered parts from JHN. 2 weeks later, still no feedback, i drive there again, as phone nr not working. I am told that they can't find my battery, then they find it, and get told but parts were not there yet. I make a big racket and eventually get an loan unit, get installer to connect again ( call out R 1250 agin ). We asked GC Solar, since it was confirmed factory fualt, if they are covering the cost of the installer, and got the following, they don't accept responsibility, for "other costs", as it is company policy. In my view since the manufacturer themselves confirmed that this was a factory fault, the manufacturer or supplier should be liable for the cost involved (call out costs & delivery costs that needed to be paid by the client )(can't install yourself or warranty is void). In my view, it is also not fair to expect the installer to carry these costs for a faulty product that was supp****/ sold to him. GC Solar SORRY TO SAY, YOU SHOULD MAN UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING, THAT IS WHAT ONES CALLS CUSTOMER SERVICE. GC SOLAR REMEMBER YOU ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR LAST SALE TO YOUR LAST CLIENT.
