GC Diesel
My Ford Figo's injectors needed attention, was told by the dealer where I bought my car to go straight to GC Diesel instead through them as they would anyways send it to GC Diesel. So the 4th of July two days before my birthday I booked my car in. And as the days went on I heard nothing from them then I phoned and get told sorry your car has been put on hold as a emergency came up. Now I know it's kind of the thing if a ambulance, cop car, traffic cop car and so on get preference so cool understand, but to get told later it wasn't any government vehicle but a personal matter, some kind of accident they had to attend to, I was fuming as my car is my income and it's school holidays and that's the only time I have to get it repaired. I have to continuesally contact them as their promise of contacting me never happens unless I contact them first. They always have a story on why things are taking so long. Eventually they said all my injectors failed and need to be replaced or refurbished. The second option is cheaper so I paid them full in cash over R27000.00. In the 4th week of having my car they eventually said it was ready. I fetched my car to only realize that something is wrong when driving it as it's smoking and steaming and so on. So I have to stop almost every few meters to fill up the water bottle as the water was spewing out from the cap as well as either or of the pipe outlets and inlets from the engine into the water bottle. The damage was already done the head gasket blew as it wasn't getting enough water to cool the engine down. I couldn't understand this as my car was driving when I sent it to them to have it looked at they said they would do a full diagnostic test, how did they not pick this up as they said when they eventually came to fetch my car the next day that unfortunately these things happen and it's not their fault. And they can repair the work but I must pay them. Little do they know that I'm not an idiot and checked out all sources regarding the water pipes and so on to find out that they clamped the pipe shut in 2 places that prevented the water from traveling through the engine but because the pipe was covered my the engine cover one doesn't see it unless the cover taken off. I have footage, video as well as witnesses who saw this and till today GC Diesel doesn't want to rectify their mistake. I will never ever trust them again with my car, ever and I certainly won't recommend them to anyone ever.
