Bad Service

4 years back an issue with my diesel pump, I took it to GC Diesel and they remanufactured the diesel pump, in December 2024 my Isuzu cut out and did not want to start, after my mechanic looked at the vehicle he said there is no pump speed on the pump, I arranged that my vehicle go to GC Diesel again as they worked on the pump previously, when explaining it to them the one staff member said I was lucky it lasted so long, (not impressed) they had it from the 6th of December until 24th of December 2024, when I arranged it to be fetched as the still had no idea what was wrong. They took the pump off, did inspection and said there was no fault, they then blamed a plug and play system that was not working for 7 years. I said to them to get my vehicle ready for collection as they are grasping to straws, I had to pay R7800 to get my vehicle back, they initially asked for R10000. I arranged to see Christo (the owner) he refused or was in a meeting, but made no attempted to see me. On ongoing emails asking them to come and see me, they refused, I must go down to them to see them (I'm the customer). I had to phone the whole time to get updates, then I was informed they just have to put the vehicle together and do a test drive, then when I phoned again, they are waiting for parts. When I went down they said its the plug and play that's the fault. Then they wanted the spare key to see if that's the fault. On the emails they talked about repairing the diesel pump, on asking what they repaired as they said nothing is wrong, I asked on email all of these questions and still got no response back from the owner. All I can say I am not impressed on how they do business and how unprofessional they are. After my Auto Electrician came to look within 2 hours he resolved the fault and a R300 part and the vehicle is running again... I will NEVER refer anybody to GC Diesel ever...
