Vagrants bothering passengers

On multiple occasions, I have been approached by vagrantsbeggars right outside the gautrain entrance to the station. The guards stand by but do not do anything. As a young woman I do not believe that this is safe especially in the evening. The gautrain is a reputable system priding itself on safe passage of its customers. There are more than enough to guards who should stop the vagrants from hanging around the station.
