Thankful that Gautrain is doing its best under the circumstances

I take the Gautrain every day from Pretoria station to Sandton station. I am so thankful for the Gautrain, as I don't have the sit in traffic every day all the way to Sandton. It really has been a blessing not starting my day already frustrated just because I have been sitting in traffic for hours. Even on days when cables are ****** and there are delays, I would rather wait at the station or on the train than sit in traffic. When I heard about the unavoidable strike, I was dreading having to drive to work and sit in traffic all the way to Sandton. But instead, today I only had to drive to Centurion because Gautrain had the sense to have a backup plan. I do feel sorry for the people who can't make it to work due to the strike, but I am still grateful that the Gautrain is still somewhat operational, despite the circumstances.
