Stupid staff at Midrand and Sandton stations, beware cold weather

It is 8 degrees celcius so i put my hood up halfway to cover my ears for warmth. Apparently that is just as dangerous as waving a stupid gun around according to security staff. Id like to understand why exactly, if i have my face FULLY exposed, why is it still such an issue. Am i supposed to just let my ears freeze off so that the ***** who obvioussly needs glasses can see me face. Pathetic. There are alway people eat/drinking and wearing other banned items yet a partial head covering is dangerous.
