New parking rules - motorbikes / scooters

At the Hatfield station they have decided to only cordon off 2 parking areas for persons riding motorbikes or scooters to park their vehicles. These areas are so small that if you arrive early in the morning, and come back to the station early in the afternoon you are boxed or parked in. Also, when the security guards are asked if there are alternative parking spaces we are just told no, and told to park in this small 8 x 8 metre area. This is ridiculous and I feel that at this rate I am going to pay the parking fee and park in a parking bay in the same way that a car does, because I think that it is unfair that it is incredibly inconvenient to try and manoeuvre in and out when so many bikes are squeezed into such a small area, and it is really just a matter of time before my bike is damaged. What is the reasoning behind these new rules? If there are riders who park in places that obstruct other traffic then these riders should be dealt with individually, and the entire rider community should not have to be affected.
