My car was locked in at Gautrain and I had to walk home! Thanks Deon!

I returned from Sandton station to Centurion station at 8pm to find my car locked in at the parking station across the road.

I'm then told by the security guard that they don't control that parking, but rather Kingsway does.

When you park your car under the big training signs NOWHERE DOES IT SAY that it is owned or controlled or whatever by a third party. Only when they fail to deliver a service is gautrain quick to blame anyone else!!

I asked the useless drone that works behind the counter when the parking closes. She said 9.15 pm. I then asked her why my car was parked in, and she just got defensive and insisted I speak to security.

I then spoke to Phumzile who works in security was kind enough to try her best, but I honestly felt sorry for her as she had to speak to a man called Deon who works for the Kingsway, and manages the parking lot across the street I believe.

Poor Deon insisted that he had no people working their that day and that the parking was closed. DEAON HOW DO I DRIVE MY CAR PASSED YOUR GAURDS THROUGH CLOSED METAL GATES IF IT IS NOT OPEN DEON!!!

Poor phumzile had to tell Deon that he had people working that day, and this guy was denying it outright. How can you not know you have people working that day Deon! Isn't it your job to manage them? Deon then insisted that I was in the wrong for making use of the car park out of its working hours. Which is contradictory to him just saying that it wasn't open anyway. Man this guy is truly ***********. Classic Deon really.

How can Gautrain work with a man like Deon and a company like Kingsway! I expected better from you guys and I will be compensated for the apprehension of my motor vehicle!

Nowhere was it communicated that the car park would close at different hours to the other car park, and nowhere was it communicated that it would be looked after by somebody as *********** as Deon.

I will be calling Kim soon to discuss this directly as this was NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!
