Gautrain wastes water
We all know water in the country is scarce and we should save water.

I travel by Gautrain now for 3 years, daily from Pretoria to Sandton.

Every morning we pass a patch of vegetation on the left, on the way to the drop off, just past the zebra markings. They have irigation installed that is on a timer. Every morning around six, this irrigation is on for this small little patch of vegetation, the worst is a lot of the water is spilt over the side just running away.

In my view it is irresponsible having this much water for this ridiculous little patch of vegetation in a country where whole towns don't have water.

Gautrain travel and service is world class and I love them, although expensive, but this total waste of water is annoying in the extreme.
