Gautrain Services

Hi
I have been using the gautrain services for 2 years and i have always used the 35 day pass and the bus. During that time i was never told about the damaged card policy. My card on Friday (11 August 2017) did not want to scan me out, and the manager at the Rosebank station told me it was because of the fact that my card was damaged. i had 18 trips left on my card and R120 for the bus. she told me that she would have to convert my trips to pay as you go on another card and that all came up to R600. Now i was very disappointed to hear this as this will not last me until the end of the month. So i calculated and i will have to add R350 to complete the month. This is extremely nonsense as i bought a 35 day pass in the beginning of the month to complete the month now i can't, all because my card did not want to work. now i want to understand why do the cashiers load my card even though they can see its damaged, why did they not advice me to buy a new card when i wanted to load my card with 35 day pass, because it is their job to inform us customers on the best options. after using the train for 2 years this is the service i get. the gautrain came into service to make traveling easier and convenience not **** us out of money. i just want to say i am very disappointed about this.
