Gautrain *****ing my funds

My Gautrain card is supposed expire only 31/12/27. However, someone at Gautrain thought it is profitable for them to block my card and ***** my funds.

This is the response I got from my complaint:

In that event, any unused value on the expired card is transferred to the Gauteng Provincial Government. This is fully compliant with the CPA regulations and was verified so by the Commissioner several years ago. This practice is a common operational measure with cards.
