Double charginf Gautrain and Absa problem

I bought a month pass Gautrain ticket and got charged for it twice , now Gautrain are unable to refund me.

When I first purchased my ticket the attendant chargeda me on my ABSA card and said the transaction cancelled, saying that the amount of R2009 was perhaps too high as to why the transaction was not successful.

We proceeded to split the transaction between two of my bank cards. FNB R500 and ABSA R1509

This time it went through.

Later I discovered that my ABSA card was actually charge twice. R1509 and the first R2009. Now Gautrain are unable to refund me as they say the amounts dont match
