I am extremely disgusted, unhappy and disappointed at the behaviour, attitude and service of bus driver at Midrand station (bus from Midrand to Sunninghill) on 17/09/2015 at 08:00. The bus driver closed the door on us (me & my friend) and drove off before we could board even though we were literally 3 steps from bus door. This was the bus to sunninghill which left at 08:00 from Midrand station. I understand that busses are time based and leave when their time to leave has come to pass, but this situation was worsed by the fact that the bus driver managed to wait for the guy who was in front of us, opened the doors and then closed when I was just 3 feet from the door. If it was time for the bus to leave its understandable and I think cut-off should be for every one. I don't want to bring race into this, but the guy whom the driver waited for was white. And this makes me wonder (as a black person) if gautrain provides their service based on race. The bus driver's colleague at the station even signalled for him to stop as he saw what happened and realised that he had discriminated against us with regards to boarding the bus before it left, but he did not stop.
