HDMI cables gone

I called and asked for assistance in installing my mothers Dstv as she recently moved in with me. The guy asked me for all the relevant tools to activate her tv HDMI cable which we didn't have and the AV cables and all the remotes. I gave him my AV cables to use and then when he left i checked for it and it was nowhere to be found i called him he said to me no the guy i'm working with said that he gave you our HDMI cable so we took the AV cables and i said but that was my cables for my OVHD he tells me well i will bring and take our HDMI. He didn't tell me he gave us a HDMI cable and he didn't tell us that he took my AV cable nothing.
