Heavy Handedness of Gauteng Department of Education

Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) was requested to assist in a matter of breach of confidentiality of private medical information of a pupil at Benoni Christian School (BCS). The GDE did not assist and displayed the same heavy handed attitude of BCS and expected the pupil to return to the school for further humiliation. A plea made to GED and BCS was ignored as if nothing had happened and the violation and humiliation of a pupil means nothing - it is business as usual for GED and BCS. It is not surprising (and very sad) that there are so many issues with pupils throughout South Africa (and the world) when this is how pupil in education are handled
