BROKEN PROMISES
Having met a gentleman from Gate Tech, who introduced himself as the owner of Gate Tech, to whom to date, I have paid a few thousand rands for a gate motor to be fitted, as well as a colleague of his to set the rail that the gate runs on, which all works satisfactorily, and I was happy with the service. A few months later, he wants again came to my aid and corrected a blown fuse. I now have a time delay relay problem and called the gentleman. However, he sincerely promised me that he would come to my premises and attend to the time delay/relayissue. He quoted me a price to fix the problem. that the problem which had occured before the rain and havinh just being discharged from hospital the same day, having had a spinal operation. This gentleman promised me sincerely that he would come and fix the relay problem and that I would just have to open the gate to allow him in, at 09h00 and he would be able to correct the fault, as I was wheelchair bound. It must be understood that this gate was functioning exceptionally, except for the time relay of the gate, having being operated from the remote which was a delay of exactly 10 seconds.Once in motion the gate ran perfectly well, and would stop at the touch of the remote, and once again would take 10 seconds to start up. I am very satisfied with this gentleman's work done in the past. I sat waiting in a wheelchair, from 09h30 to 10h30.with the remote in my hand for this gentleman to come as promised. I phoned him and he told me he would call me back in 2 seconds which took another hour and once again I called back and on voicemail left a message, "be a man answer your phone". He rep**** almost immediately he had an important job at Umhlanga Disheartened I wished him well without talking to this gentleman again. He tried to call my wife the next day but hung up before she could answer.
