Gate Doctor Pinetown
We opened our B&B in 2007 and had the Gate Doctor to come and install their Electric Gate, electric fence and intercom system at our premises.They sent their sales and promotion team to recommend the size of gate motor required for the terrain and slope of the drive way, ect. We accepted the quote for all the so called requirements that they recommended, and paid the quoted amount to have our security . Over the last 19 years we have been plagued with numerous gate failures and had the main circuit board replaced 3 times, radio remote boards for the remotes replaced 4 times.I have also had the complete motor replaced as well as it was flooded from rain and it shorted out the complete system.My gate then started tripping out our homes circuit breaker as the water that was getting into my gate motor's battery charging unit was causing hell for us.My gate has now started causing problems with it opening and closing on its own.I reported the fault and was told that my motor is now mounted too low for the flow of water that runs down my driveway when we have severe storm down pours.I re**** on their so called professional survey of my property to have the correct gate and motor assembly installed from the word go. I reported a fault again last week,that my gate now opens on it's own and then only closes half way. We then had one of their technicians come around about 4 days ago, whom I could truthfully, say that made three planks of wood seem like a computer, only to tell me that I must get an electrician in to sort out the underground cables that they originally laid, as it was shocking him. He then decided to disconnect all my gate beams and intercom and to let the gate work only by remote control. Well this brain wave solution of his only worked for 1 day as the gate is still opening by it's self and closing half way . I reported this again after receiving their call out invoice , via Email, I informed them that I would not be paying a cent further till all this mess was sorted out. I was informed that their Manager would be here this morning to check this out and it is now 17.05 PM and am till waiting for this person to materialise.
