Gas champions!

I have been a customer of Gas on the Run for quite a few years as they have great prices and offer a drive-through offering. This saves time and only reflects in their name. Who doesn't like quick service with a smile.

What matters is when a client calls with a problem. My son hasn't been living at home the last 5 years and will be leaving our s****s in two month's time. While I have him at my disposal, he gets to do some of the dirty work for me. A simple request to refill a gas bottle seems simple enough. He did mention the bottle still made a swooshing noise but I asked he just get it done for me. On his return I saw he was breaking open the seal. The penny dropped. He didn't know we had two. there is the working bottle, and one spare (the empty he was supposed to have replaced).

After getting caught up in meetings for some hours, I called to explain what had happened. Lizzy took my call and made sure she understood what had happened. She immediately offered to help and asked we bring the actual empty bottle, and she would ask for the half full bottle to be located.

I called my son, asked if he could do the swop and take the till slip along. It was a minute later Lizzy called me back and said they had found it and we could ask for her or Bongani.

My son arrived to smiling faces and the bottle was swopped. They could easily have ignored my plea for help but the helpfulness and kindness shown shows the heart of the company.
